 Richard (Tony) Marshal
 
    Originally from East Coast, born in Washington, DC. Serving in Vietnam as 03/11-31 US Marine w/Purple Heart, now Disabled Veteran. Working for the Federal Government and Foodservice specialist for 20 years. He worked for the Mirage Corp. Casino Purchasing for 10 years. Moving back to Las Vegas in 2012 with his wife, Saundra J Marshall, Past Auxiliary President 2019/20 a Life Member since 2003 as a new members of Post 10047.
 
    As a member of Post 10047, he served as Post Service Officer, Sr Vice and Commander, All State and All-American District 6 Commander, State Membership Chairman, State Surgeon and twice National Aid -de-Camp. He has accomplished many recruiting and membership awards. He is a Bronze Legacy Life Member and holds membership with American Legion, Fleet Reserve Association, Life Member of Disabled American Veterans, and Military Order of the Purple Heart.
 
   2019, he was asked to join a new Post with Past State Commander Herman Hagen. This was the start of the Covid 19 pandemic. Assuming the role of Adjutant and Quartermaster for the new post with mostly new VFW members, we moved thru the year. With leadership and mentoring the new Post, Stephen P Gibbs Memorial Post 12198 accomplished All State and All-American status. This year the Post 12198, is on track to repeat as All State and All American. In addition to Post Adjutant/Quartermaster, Tony serves as State/Post Service Officer Representative for Southern NV, providing 2 days per week to assist Veterans with benefits and processing Disability Claims.
 
   He is also the Sr Vice Commander, District 5, and State POW/MIA Chairman. His devotion and dedication to Community, Post, District and the State for the Veterans of Foreign Wars has been unrelenting.
